Llamas at Machu Picchu, PeruWriting the Post of Alcatraz Prison I remembered another site where it is difficult to get tickets on the train that goes to Machu Picchu, Peru.

Machu Picchu is one of the best examples of Inca architecture. Is located about 100 km from the city of Cuzco, in Peru, 2320 meters above the Sea is one of the new seven wonders of the world , and from this travel blog, Passport Blog , we believe deserves this honor. One of the peculiarities of this city is that it was abandoned at the time of the discovery of America and was not rediscovered until the early twentieth century. You can read his story on wikipedia Machu Picchu .You can arrive by train from Cuzco , train that takes you to Aguas Calientes , the small town in the foothills of the Lost City, and has numerous accommodations of various categories. We came with nothing signed, and we had no problem in visiting various hostels, view rooms and choose one with a good value for money. You can also reach the Inca Trail that lasts three days.
To buy train tickets is important to target the Cuzco train station upon arrival to the city. You had to be careful if you buy in the local agency, it is usual to ensure that you have tickets, and catch your money, and then if you make excuses there and buy it for the next day. Taxis in Cusco are extremely cheap, so it's best to go in person.
The train arrives at Aguas Calientes and from there there are small buses that will go up to Machu Picchu.
The peak that crowns the city of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu called his ascension has limited hours. I recommend up early in the morning, then watch the sunrise from there is an experience not to forget. In any case if out of working hours, you can always encourage the guard at the entrance.
My recommendation is to go up a sandwich or some food, to spend the whole day there. Do not forgiveness i s a sunrise or a sunset. OR BOTH if I gavetrip as you allow it.
