Salt mines of Maras, Peru trip

As part of our trip to Peru and Bolivia will visit the salt mines of Maras . The Salt Mines are located 40 kilometers from Cuzco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas . These mines have been exploited since pre-Inca and consist of about 3000 wells. Once the water is evaporated the salt to be processed and consumed. It was an interesting part of our way back from Machu Picchu to Cuzco. We set free by hiring a taxi driver for a few dollars. He was completely at our disposal, or nearly so, because ...at times, picking up people if our record was coming to them to carry in the back of the truck, although they offered to pass before us, not accepted.The advice of this travel blog : it is better to first see around Cuzco and the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the last stage to see Machu Picchu , for after Machu Picchu else is never enough.
