parrot-beach-island-lanzaroteThe Papagayo beach, on the island of Lanzarote is one of the most pristine beaches on the island. It is framed in a series of beaches south of the island, separated by cliffs, Playa Mujeres, Playa del Pozo, Playa de la Cera, Conger Cove and the aforementioned Playa del Papagayo. They are easy to access but must pay a few euros to enter this area of the island. The Papagayo beach is about 4 km from Playa Blanca, near Punta del Papagayo, most southern point of Lanzarote, Canary Islands . This beach is one of the most beautiful to visit, even worth going windy day because it's a pretty cove or beach closed. It has a couple of bars at the top with reasonable prices. Clear waters, white sand, the climate of the Canary Islands ... what more could you want? Maybe something less than people, so if we go in high season, from our travel blog , we recommend you visit and then go for any of the nearby beaches, but open to the sea and wind, but quieter. This white sand beach and clear water is certainly a must on the island of Lanzarote. This area has been declared a Nature Monument in 1994 and slut protection zone and, as mentioned in the road leading to this area is a barrier in the car if we have to pay a few euros and free when we cycle.
