Terraces of Moray, investigaciÃÆ'Ã,  ³ n Inca, Cuzco, Peru tripMoray is an archaeological complex located 38 km from Cuzco, you can get there by paved road.

As part of our trip to Peru and Bolivia we visited this part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas by hiring a taxi, the price agreed at the outset, and for a few dollars per capita , to see the fortress Sacsayhuaman , the salt mines of Maras , Ollantaytambo and the archaeological complex of Moray.
The Moray complex stands in the way of its platforms or terraces, circles or concentric terraces . Moray is situated 3,500 meters above sea level. For the Incas was a major center for domestication, acclimatization and hybridization of wild species that were adapted for human consumption, was also very important for agriculture as they grow different varieties of corn, and many other species. That is, was one of the first research centers .Control over the Incas had microclimates that still surprises us these days, it suffices by the fact that the climate varies according to the height of the terraces, and in some seasons the difference in temperature was 15 degrees (10 according to other sources ) and this allowed an important experiment. The complex would contain twenty or more ecological zones to scale. Moray could also serve Inca officials to calculate the annual production in different parts of the empire.
